In the cold extrusion process, heat treatment can be divided into primary heat treatment, inter process heat treatment (heat treatment between two extrusion processes), and final product heat treatment according to the order of use. In cold extrusion production, two annealing treatments between the original and the process are often used. Cracks often occur when the second cold extrusion process is carried out directly without annealing to eliminate cold work hardening after the previous cold extrusion process. Traditionally, annealing is added between processes to prevent such drawbacks. It should be pointed out that in multi process cold extrusion, if the deformation of subsequent processes is not significant or the hardening of the material in the previous process is not severe, the annealing treatment between processes can sometimes be omitted.
